Location
Shottisham is a village on 'Deben peninsula' and lies on the road between the B1083 and Hollesley. The B1083 runs from the small roundabout at Bromeswell, through Sutton, Alderton, Bawdsey.

Directions
From the A12, turn off at the Woods Lane roundabout, on the northern edge of Woodbridge, onto the A1152.
At the traffic lights in Melton, go straight ahead, keeping on A1152.
Cross the railway at Melton station.
At the small roundabout, take the second exit, onto the B1083, going up a fairly steep hill.
Pass Sutton Hoo (NT) on your right.
At the junction (on the left) to Hollesley, continue straight ahead towards Sutton.
Drive straight through Sutton, and on a winding road for about a mile.
At the T-junction, turn LEFT, into The Street, towards Shottisham village.
In a few hundred yards, you will see the Sorrel Horse before you, looking just like it does here.
There are no yellow lines but there is a car park behind the pub.
